About ME

The practice of movement and flow has been a main theme in my life since I was very young. From early childhood until I graduated high school, I was a competitive dancer and spent six days a week training at my dance studio. When I moved away for university, I quickly found myself with too much free time and the desire to connect with myself on a much deeper level. And so, my yoga journey began in 2012 during my first year of university. I found peace, humility, and strength on my mat. After a few years of dedicated practice, I completed my 200-hour teacher training with Ning. Not long after obtaining my certification, I decided to move to Vietnam. During my time living in Southeast Asia, I opened my own studio and was teaching yoga to expats in a smaller coastal city. After skipping a few Canadian winters, I decided it was time to move back to Canada to pursue graduate studies in Counselling Psychology. My goal is to combine the wisdom and grace of yoga with the study of psychology to create a profound healing and therapeutic yoga practice. Yoga has been a transformative tool for my mental, physical & spiritual well-being and I hope to share this gift with my students!
